THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUTH HOCKEY IS:
Having fun with your teammates and friends. I cared so much about hockey and my teammates when I was in school, and met so many of my friends through the sport.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY OF THE USA HOCKEY GIRLS NATIONALS?
We took an RV trip. It was a group of 12 of us and we drove around in the RV during the season, that was definitely my favorite memory.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO PLAY FOR TEAM USA?
It's an unbelievable feeling. The opportunity to play on this team, and play alongside Hilary Knight, Brianna Decker and Kendall Coyne Schofield, and everyone else, it's a dream come true.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOCKEY PRACTICE DRILL?
I like playing 3-on-3, mini games in the zone.

WHAT'S YOUR BEST TIP TO A 12-YEAR-OLD PLAYER?
Don't take it too seriously, have fun with it. I took it too seriously at times, but once I took a deep breath, I had a lot more fun.

WHAT'S A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'D LIKE TO GIVE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF?
Don't overthink things. I was never told that when I was young, but I've been given that advice now. Just go out and do it.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE YOUTH RINK TO PLAY IN?
Seven Bridges in Lisle, Illinois. It's the O.G.
