North Iowa and Helena were the last two qualifiers for the USA Hockey Tier III Nationals, which were scheduled to begin Thursday in Rochester, Minn. and continue through Monday.

This year’s tournament is limited to eight league champions.

The Atlanta Junior Knights, the Eastern Junior Hockey League South champions, are back to defend their national title. They are in a pool with Helena, the Eastern States Hockey League champion Boch Blazers and Metropolitan League champion New Jersey Rockets.

North Iowa is in a pool with the Empire Junior Hockey League’s New Hampshire Junior Monarchs, the Northern Pacific League’s Bellingham Blazers and the Minnesota Junior Hockey League’s Twin Cities Northern Lights.
