2023 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championships Underway

High School tournaments open slate of championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The 2023 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championships are underway, with the High School National Championships in Plymouth, Minnesota having kicked off on Thursday (March 23).

Featuring four divisions -- including Division I (for single-school teams), Division II (for teams comprised of players from multiple high schools), a Prep Division, and a Girls Division -- the High School tournaments are being held at Plymouth Ice Center in Plymouth, Minnesota, as well as Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis. 

As part of USA Hockey Nationals, some 4,000 players will compete for American hockey top honors in the youth, girls, high school, disabled and adult levels at various host sites across the United States between now and late April.

Girls and Youth Nationals begin next week, with Youth Tier I kicking off on Wednesday, March 29, in Plymouth, Mich., Wayne, N.J., and San Jose, Calif. Girls tournaments begin one day later, with Tier I tournaments taking place in Dallas and Tier II being held in Irvine, Calif. Youth Tier II tournaments also start on March 30 in Denver, Amherst, N.Y., and Maple Grove, Minn.
